The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has uploaded 87.48 percent of the expected results from the Osun State governorship election to its official results viewing portal, IReV.
The upload covers polling unit results from Saturday’s vote. The IReV portal is INEC’s digital platform designed to let the public view election results in real time as they are collated.
The commission has not yet released the remaining 12.52 percent of results. No official explanation was provided for the delay.
The election, widely followed across Nigeria, will determine the next governor of Osun State. INEC has urged citizens to continue checking the portal as more results are expected to be uploaded.
