Five years after the Taliban returned to power in Afghanistan, women are largely absent from public life. They are banned from parks and most workplaces, and girls cannot attend school beyond age 12. FRANCE 24’s Peter O’Brien spoke with independent researcher Melissa Cornet in Kabul about the situation.
