Africa Watches the Sun Vanish: Partial Eclipse Dazzles Tunisia and Senegal

The world turned its eyes skyward this Wednesday as a partial solar eclipse swept across parts of Africa. In Tunisia, the phenomenon reached its peak in the coastal town of Tabarka, where 59.06% of the Sun was obscured. Further south, Senegal also got a show, with observers in Dakar and other regions seeing up to 37% of the solar disk disappear near the end of the day.
