Ukraine Wipes Out Nearly 14,000 Russian Vehicles in a Single Month
In the 1,631st day of the Russo-Ukrainian war, Kyiv’s forces have reported a staggering toll on Russian military hardware. According to Ukrainian data, nearly 14,000 Russian vehicles were destroyed or disabled in July alone. This figure includes tanks, armored personnel carriers, artillery systems, and logistical trucks, marking one of the highest monthly losses for Moscow since the invasion began. Meanwhile, Russia is not slowing its own production lines. Reports indicate that Moscow is now building approximately 3,000 jet-powered drones per month. These new drones are designed to overwhelm Ukraine’s air defenses through sheer numbers. At the same time, Russia is reportedly ending production of its older Geran-3 model, a slower propeller-driven drone that has been a staple of its long-range strike campaign. The shift to faster, jet-powered drones suggests a tactical change aimed at breaking through Ukrainian defenses that have become increasingly effective against slower targets. However, the high monthly loss of vehicles on the ground indicates that Russia’s ability to sustain its offensive may be facing serious strain, even as it invests in new aerial technology.
