The wife of a famous Myanmar hip-hop artist is making an urgent, global plea to stop his execution. Phyo Zeyar Thaw, who is also a former lawmaker, was sentenced to death by the country's military rulers. The charge was for joining a peaceful protest against the military coup in February 2021. The execution order was officially approved in June. His wife is now calling on the international community to intervene and save his life.
