Russia Hits Missile Targets Early, Kyiv Warns of No Strike Pause

Ukraine’s military intelligence says Moscow has already met its full-year production goals for two key missiles, raising fears of sustained attacks. According to Vadym Skibitskyi, Ukraine’s deputy intelligence chief, Russian plants are exceeding monthly missile output quotas by 110 to 120 percent. He added that Moscow completed its annual targets for the Tsirkon and Onyx missiles by early August—just seven months into the year. The Tsirkon is a hypersonic cruise missile, while the Onyx is a supersonic anti-ship missile. Both are used in strikes against Ukrainian targets. Skibitskyi said this output level suggests Russia has no intention of pausing its missile campaign. The faster production pace gives Moscow a larger stockpile, allowing for more frequent and sustained attacks. The intelligence assessment points to a continued high tempo of strikes in the coming months, with no sign of logistical slowdown.
