US President Donald Trump says Thailand and Cambodia have agreed to restart a ceasefire. The deal comes after days of deadly fighting between the two countries.
Trump announced the renewed truce in a social media post. He said he spoke with Thai Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul and Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet.
The agreement revives a peace deal first made in July. The United States helped negotiate that original ceasefire. Recent clashes had threatened to end it.
