The lawyer for the family of late Turkish pop star Güllü has announced legal action against media outlets.
Attorney İsmail Uçanok stated that some recent news reports contain false information. These reports are related to an audio analysis report prepared by TÜBİTAK, Turkey's scientific and technological research council.
Uçanok said the reports do not reflect the truth about the analysis. He confirmed that they have now filed legal complaints regarding this specific issue.
The singer's death in 2023 was ruled a suicide. However, her family has consistently expressed doubts, leading to an ongoing investigation. Recent media attention has focused on the TÜBİTAK report and the involvement of the singer's daughter and a friend.
