Russian missiles kill 8 in Ukraine, including children
A Russian barrage of ballistic missiles and drones struck multiple regions of Ukraine overnight into Thursday, killing at least eight civilians and wounding more than 50 others, Ukrainian officials said. The attack, which included 74 missiles and 284 drones, hit the western city of Lviv and the eastern Poltava region. In Lviv, at least 15 people were wounded after a residential building was partially destroyed. In Poltava, a drone strike on a warehouse killed one person. First responders were seen escorting a wounded resident with a bandaged head and blood on his face from the rubble in Lviv. Officials confirmed that children were among the dead.
