Once nearly entirely dependent on Western military aid to survive Russia's invasion, Ukraine has transformed into a major arms supplier. The country now sells military technology to customers in Europe and the Middle East, according to international security experts Arthur de Liedekerke and Hector de Rivoire. In an op-ed for Le Monde, the analysts describe Ukraine's defense industry as "one of the most innovative military-industrial complexes in the world."
