Siberian fuel plant shuts down after drone strike
A major oil refinery in Siberia, located roughly 2,000 kilometers from the front lines of the war, has stopped production. The plant near Tyumen normally produces about half a million tons of gasoline and millions of tons of diesel each year. According to sources cited by Reuters, it is currently making neither fuel. The facility was struck by drones days ago. The shutdown removes a significant source of fuel from the domestic market, though the full impact remains unclear.
