Russia and North Korea finish secret road bridge for war supplies

Russia and North Korea are nearly done building their first-ever road bridge, sparking fears it will become a supply route for Moscow’s war in Ukraine. The bridge crosses the Tumen River, connecting Khasan in Russia’s far east to Tumangang in North Korea. This remote, thinly populated border area is where the river marks the final stretch of the frontier before reaching the coast. Experts say the new road link makes it easier for both countries to move goods and troops while dodging satellite surveillance. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has warned that Russia is set to receive 30,000 more North Korean soldiers as part of deepening military cooperation.
