Intense wildfires can grow so large that they feed themselves, becoming unpredictable and extremely difficult to fight. These so-called "fire clouds" have previously appeared in Australia and Canada. Now, the phenomenon has reached France for the first time, just outside Bordeaux, according to France 24.
