A Romanian F-16 fighter jet shot down a Russian drone near a village northeast of Bucharest. The interception came as part of a larger Russian attack that launched Shahed drones, other unmanned aircraft, and five missiles at targets in Ukraine. Border districts across from Romania were among the areas hit in the barrage.
