A Romanian F-16 fighter jet shot down an intruding drone on Tuesday, marking the second such incident in two days. The drone entered Romanian airspace overnight, prompting the military response.
Meanwhile, Ukrainian forces conducted long-range strikes against Russian targets, hitting a missile boat, components of an S-400 air defense system, and multiple logistics sites. The strikes occurred during the night, as the war entered its 1,613th day.
Romania, a NATO member, has increased air patrols along its border with Ukraine following repeated drone incursions. The downed drone was intercepted over Romanian territory, but no damage or casualties were reported.
