The US House of Representatives has passed a war powers resolution for the second time, ordering President Donald Trump to withdraw American troops from the conflict with Iran.
The vote was 214-208, mostly along party lines. Four Republicans joined all Democrats present to support the measure.
The resolution is largely symbolic. Democrats have few legal tools to force President Trump to comply.
The renewed fighting has driven oil prices past $100 a barrel and killed four American troops.
