US Attacks Iran for 11th Straight Night, Targeting Shipping Threats

The U.S. military has launched a new wave of strikes against Iranian military targets, marking the 11th consecutive night of attacks. The U.S. Central Command (Centcom) announced the operation early Wednesday, stating it is designed to further weaken Iran’s ability to threaten commercial shipping in the Strait of Hormuz. “These strikes aim to continue degrading Iran’s capability to threaten merchant vessels,” Centcom wrote on X, the social media platform. Centcom later confirmed that the night’s attacks were complete. In response, the Iranian army reportedly attacked U.S. targets near Camp Doha in Kuwait using drones, according to the state-run Iranian broadcaster IRIB.
