Forbes has named two Nigerian leaders, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala and Mo Abudu, to its 2025 list of the World’s 100 Most Powerful Women.
The annual ranking recognizes global influence across categories like politics, business, and culture.
Okonjo-Iweala is the Director-General of the World Trade Organization (WTO). Her position places her at the center of international trade policy. She has held this role since 2021.
Mo Abudu is a media mogul, often called "Africa's Oprah." She leads EbonyLife Group, a major media and entertainment company based in Lagos.
Their inclusion highlights Nigeria's growing impact in global institutions and creative industries.
