A single Israeli airstrike in Gaza killed 12 people on [insert date], including a family of six, according to Palestinian medics.
The dead include Firas al-Masri, his wife, and their four children. The Israeli military stated that the strike targeted a Hamas operative.
Medics reported that the other six victims were killed in separate strikes across the territory. The military did not immediately comment on the additional casualties.
The attack is the latest in ongoing hostilities that have left thousands dead and displaced most of Gaza’s population.
