Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has dismissed the country’s top military commander, Oleksandr Syrskyi. In his place, Mykhailo Drapatiy will take over as the highest-ranking military official, Zelensky announced on Telegram. “This does not come as a surprise,” said military expert Johan Huovinen.
