Human rights groups and Italian opposition parties are demanding answers after a Moroccan man died while being restrained by police, with witnesses saying he pleaded for help.
The incident in Bologna has sparked violent protests. Demonstrators have compared the death to the 2020 murder of George Floyd in the United States, and to tactics used by US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) under former President Donald Trump.
