CHP’s “Absolute Nullity” Ruling Heads to Supreme Court

Özgür Özel’s appeal against the Ankara Regional Administrative Court’s “absolute nullity” ruling has been sent to the 3rd Civil Chamber of the Supreme Court of Appeals. The term “absolute nullity” refers to a legal decision that declares an action or contract void from the start, as if it never existed. The case file was submitted on the last working day of the week, just three days before the court’s summer recess. As a result, a final decision is not expected until after the holiday break.
