Ukraine destroys rare Russian bomber in strike 800 km inside Russia

Ukraine’s Security Service (SBU) said its drones flew 800 kilometers to the Engels airbase in Russia and destroyed a Tu-95 strategic bomber, tearing off its tail section. The Soviet Union stopped building these aircraft decades ago, meaning this particular bomber is gone for good. The attack marks one of the deepest Ukrainian strikes into Russian territory since the war began.
