Sophie Kinsella, Author of 'Shopaholic,' Dies at 55

Bestselling author Madeleine Wickham, known worldwide by her pen name Sophie Kinsella, has died. She was 55.
Wickham died 18 months after announcing a brain cancer diagnosis. She was the creator of the beloved "Confessions of a Shopaholic" novel and its sequels.
Writing more than 30 books for adults and young readers, her works sold over 45 million copies. Fellow novelist Jojo Moyes called her "the queen of romantic comedy."
Her stories of humor and heart were translated into more than 40 languages and inspired a major film.
