Iran has warned the United States that any attack on its infrastructure would cross a "red line" in the Strait of Hormuz, a critical waterway for global oil shipments. The warning comes after U.S. President Donald Trump said Washington will target Iranian infrastructure next week if nuclear negotiations do not resume. Tehran stated it will retaliate if Trump carries out his threat, raising tensions in the region. The Strait of Hormuz is a narrow passage where about one-fifth of the world's oil passes, making any conflict there a risk to global energy supplies.
