Türkiye will continue its fight against the FETO terror organization, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has said.
"Terrorist groups have reached a dead end," Erdogan stated. "There is nowhere to go through hostility toward Türkiye."
The president’s remarks underline Ankara’s determination to target the group, which it blames for a failed coup attempt in 2016. FETO, or the Fethullah Terrorist Organization, is designated as a terrorist group by the Turkish government.
Erdogan’s comments come as part of a broader message that hostility against Türkiye will not succeed. The president offered no further details on specific operations.
