Fires broke out at three Russian industrial sites overnight, according to monitoring channels and the Astra news outlet. The attacks hit the Afipsky refinery, the Gazprom Neftekhim Salavat complex, and likely the nearby Rosneft-Opt depot.
The Gazprom Neftekhim Salavat facility, located roughly 1,300 kilometers from the front lines, produces 150 products ranging from gasoline to polyethylene. The fire was reported in the plant's tank farm area.
The Afipsky refinery also sustained damage, though the extent of the impact remains unclear. Officials have not confirmed the cause of the fires.
