Russia has reduced its offensive fronts in Ukraine from 13 to 6, even though it holds a two-to-one advantage in troops, according to Ukraine's top commander.
General Oleksandr Syrskyi, Ukraine's commander-in-chief, said Ukrainian forces are increasingly slowing Russian advances on the battlefield. At the same time, Ukraine is expanding its long-range strikes inside Russian territory.
The shift marks a notable change in the war's dynamics. Moscow's numerical edge has not translated into a wider offensive, as Ukrainian defenses have held key positions.
