A French appeals court has reduced Marine Le Pen's ban from running for public office, clearing the way for her to seek the presidency in 2027. The far-right leader was convicted of using European Parliament funds to pay staff of her National Rally party. Her original 30-month ineligibility sentence was cut in half, making a fourth presidential bid possible. The election is less than 300 days away.
