A sea of mourners filled the streets of Tehran on Monday for the funeral of late supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Many traveled across the country to pay their respects to the man who led the Islamic Republic for nearly 40 years. Khamenei was killed in US-Israeli air strikes. FRANCE 24 spoke to some of those who came to honor him. One mourner praised "his resilience, his words, his character."
