Small Plane Loses Both Engines, Crash-Lands on Busy Florida Highway

A small plane made an emergency landing on Interstate 95 near Naples, Florida, on Friday after a complete engine failure. The aircraft also struck a vehicle upon landing.
The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) stated the pilot reported a "loss of power in both engines" before the crash. The pilot was attempting to reach Naples Airport when the incident occurred.
Both the pilot and the driver of the car were transported to a local hospital. Authorities report their injuries are not life-threatening.
A section of the major highway was closed for several hours, causing significant traffic delays. The NTSB has begun an investigation into the cause of the dual-engine failure.
