A forensic scientist testified that Ana Walshe's DNA was found on several key items, including a hacksaw and a hatchet. The evidence was presented at the murder trial of her husband, Brian Walshe.
Prosecutors argue he killed his wife in their Massachusetts home in January 2023. They claim he discovered she was having an affair.
The scientist stated Ana Walshe's genetic profile was identified on a hatchet, a hacksaw, and a blood-stained rug. These items were recovered during the investigation. Other evidence presented includes searches for "dismemberment" and "how to stop decomposition" made on Brian Walshe's internet account.
Brian Walshe has pleaded not guilty to murder. His defense lawyers will later present their case.
