Anthropic has launched Claude Sonnet 5, a new AI model designed to run automated tasks—called "agents"—at a lower cost. The model offers stronger agentic capabilities, meaning it can perform multi-step actions on its own, such as booking tickets or managing data. It also includes improved safety features.
