Ukraine struck a defense factory in the Russian city of Volgograd, wounding 10 people and setting the plant on fire. The attack used long-range "Flamingo" cruise missiles, according to reports.
The plant produced components for Iskander missiles, a type of short-range ballistic missile that Russia uses in its war against Ukraine. The Iskander system can carry conventional or nuclear warheads.
Local authorities confirmed the damage but did not name the specific factory. The strike is part of Ukraine's campaign to disrupt Russian weapons production deep inside Russian territory.
