Israel, Lebanon, and the United States have agreed on a framework for peace. Under the deal, Israel is expected to withdraw from Lebanese territory.
However, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has placed a key condition on the withdrawal. “Israel will remain in the security zone in southern Lebanon as long as Hezbollah has not been disarmed,” he said.
