Crimea Declares State of Emergency as Ukrainian Strikes Cut Power and Fuel
Russian-installed authorities in Crimea declared a state of emergency on Friday, after a series of intensified Ukrainian strikes caused widespread power outages and fuel shortages. The largest city in the Russian-controlled peninsula, Sevastopol, has faced days of blackouts. The Kremlin-installed governor of the city, Mikhail Razvozhayev, announced on Friday that restrictions on electricity supply would remain in place.
