Nearly 7 million people may have been affected by the twin earthquakes that struck Venezuela this week, the United Nations said on Saturday. The death toll has approached 1,000, and tens of thousands remain missing.
The UN reported that up to 6.76 million people could have been impacted. This includes around two million residents of the capital, Caracas.
