A new scientific report states that the extreme heat wave currently sweeping across Europe would not have been possible without human-caused climate change. The study concludes that temperatures this high in June would not have occurred 50 years ago. “Young people in France can expect more heat waves like this one,” said Gabriele Messori, a professor of meteorology.
