Ukraine is using a new type of drone equipped with artificial intelligence to strike deep inside Russian territory, according to a report from FRANCE 24's Luke Shrago.
The AI-powered "Hornet" drones are part of Kyiv's intensified campaign to hit Russian infrastructure and supply lines. The goal is to choke off Moscow's war machine more than four years into the invasion.
Ukrainian officials say the new technology gives them an advantage. The drones can navigate and identify targets without constant human control, making them harder to jam or intercept.
The strikes mark a shift in Ukraine's strategy, moving from defensive operations to longer-range attacks aimed at weakening Russia's ability to sustain its military campaign.
