The Ankara Governorate has suspended several public assembly rights for 13 days, citing the upcoming NATO Summit. The ban takes effect from 00:00 on June 28 until 23:59 on July 10. During this period, authorities have prohibited all gatherings in open and closed spaces. This includes meetings, protests, demonstrations, and press statements. Also banned are hunger strikes, sit-ins, rallies, and setting up stands or tents. Additionally, the distribution of flyers, leaflets, and brochures is forbidden. Hanging posters or banners is also not allowed. The measure restricts citizens’ rights to peaceful assembly and expression for the duration of the summit.
