Security camera footage shows thieves stealing two prints by French artist Henri Matisse from a museum in Brazil. The suspects escaped on foot after the robbery.
The heist occurred at the Museu de Arte do Rio on Saturday. Officials say three armed individuals carried out the theft.
The thieves first held a security guard at gunpoint inside the museum. They then confronted an elderly couple in the building before taking the artworks.
The stolen pieces are prints from Matisse's famous "Jazz" series, created in 1947. Museum officials confirmed the works are original.
Police have released the CCTV footage and are investigating. They are asking the public for any information related to the suspects.
