Saudi Arabia and Qatar discussed international developments and mediation efforts related to a memorandum of understanding between the United States and Iran.
Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah spoke by phone on Monday with Qatar’s Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani. The two officials reviewed regional and global updates as well as diplomatic mediation linked to the US-Iran accord.
