Livia Paggi, Senior Managing Director and Head of Political Risk at J.S. Held, told Bloomberg Open Interest that President Trump’s Iran deal has left major issues unresolved.
Paggi warned that while markets welcomed lower oil prices and the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz, the agreement fails to clarify key points. These include the status of Iran’s nuclear program, the scope of sanctions relief, the future of ballistic missiles, and Israel’s role in Lebanon.
