One of China’s largest defense contractors has shown a model of a drone assembly line at a major military exhibition, suggesting it plans to build more of the weapons abroad.
The state-owned North Industries Group Corporation (Norinco) displayed the miniature at this week’s Eurosatory fair in Paris, one of the world’s biggest army weapon shows.
The model showed the production of several Norinco drones, including the BZK-005E. The display signals the firm’s interest in setting up overseas manufacturing, likely for Middle Eastern buyers.
