ISTANBUL — A new cultural center in Turkey, called Palestinian House or Beyt Filastin, aims to unite Palestinians living in the country while making their history, culture, and struggle for freedom visible to a wider audience.
The center brings together Palestinians from different backgrounds, offering a shared space in Turkey. Organizers say the project goes beyond a physical location. “Palestine is no longer limited to geography,” they said.
By showcasing Palestinian heritage and the ongoing fight for liberation, the house seeks to keep the Palestinian identity alive far from the homeland. It serves as a cultural hub for community events, education, and solidarity.
