Ukraine to Arm Latvia with Strike Drones and Ground Robots

Latvia will receive strike drones, ground robots, and naval systems from Ukraine under a new bilateral defense deal. The agreement, announced by the two countries' defense ministers, establishes a two-way flow of drone technology and military equipment between Kyiv and the NATO ally. Ukraine, which has developed advanced unmanned systems during its war with Russia, will supply Latvia with combat-tested drones and autonomous ground vehicles. Latvia, a Baltic nation bordering Russia, has been one of Ukraine's strongest supporters since the 2022 invasion.
