West Africa’s largest airline, Air Peace, has expressed sadness over the attacks on Nigerians in South Africa. The carrier called the situation “unfortunate and deeply concerning.” It has now officially backed the evacuation of Nigerian citizens from the country. The airline’s statement follows a series of violent incidents targeting foreign nationals. Air Peace did not specify how many passengers it will carry or when the evacuation flights will begin.
