Israel Bars French Journalist, Accusing Her of Hamas Support

France’s public radio journalist Alice Froussard was denied entry to Israel on Tuesday. Froussard, who reports on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict for Radio France and Radio France Internationale, was blocked at the border.
Israel’s Minister for Diaspora Affairs and Combating Antisemitism accused the reporter of supporting Hamas, the Palestinian militant group. The minister did not provide public evidence for the claim. The Israeli government has not issued a formal statement on the denial.
