Madyar, a Ukrainian military commander, reported that Russian forces suffered more than 2,000 casualties in the first six days of June. The losses come amid a sharp increase in Ukrainian drone strikes on occupied territories.
According to Madyar, Ukrainian drones hit 26 targets across occupied Ukraine and Russia’s Bryansk Oblast. The strikes targeted rail, energy, fuel, and telecom infrastructure.
The report did not specify how many of the casualties were killed or wounded. Madyar’s claims could not be independently verified.
