Sudan Accuses RSF of Deadly Drone Attack on Civilian Sites
Sudan’s Foreign Ministry has accused the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) of killing at least 79 civilians in a drone strike in West Kordofan state. The ministry stated the attack deliberately targeted a kindergarten and a rural hospital. The assault reportedly killed dozens of children. This incident marks one of the single deadliest attacks on civilians since the conflict between the Sudanese military and the RSF began over a year ago. The RSF has not yet publicly commented on the allegations. The group has previously denied targeting civilians in the ongoing war. International observers have repeatedly condemned the widespread violence against non-combatants in Sudan. The war has displaced millions and triggered a severe humanitarian crisis.
